New Automation machine introduced to our socket lines
Production capacity: 20K ~ 25K pcs/ Day
Injection mold is set on a rotation plate driven by servo motor to ensure precision molding, with one upper core plate fitting two cavity plates that are rotated.
The mold is consisted of 4 cavities, and up to 6 cavities can be built if bigger quantity is requested in the future.
Epson 4-axis robotic arm to pick up the terminals (3 terminals for each cavity, totaling 12 terminals) and place the terminals into each cavity before molding. Up to 8 sets of terminals (24 terminals) can be handled by the robotic arm.
Terminals are fed to the robotic arm by vibration plates.
After the molding, each socket will be undergoing the fiber optical test at the machine to check the missing of the terminals or short-shot. Alarm will be initiated if the failure is found.
